A persuasive argument for the new projectors from CASIO is their newly developed, innovative illumination technology that no longer needs conventional mercury lamps.
This is a real milestone of enviromental compatibility - with a life expectancy of up to 20,000 hours and 2,500 ANSI lumens.

Mercury-free light source.

The innovative, newly developed laser- and LED-hybrid light source makes the new CASIO projectors to a pioneer in matters of environment: since 2006, the EU directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS) has significantly limited the use of mercury. Until now, projector lamps for daylight use have been an exception. The new projectors from CASIO have an illuminative performance of up to 2,500 ANSI lumens without any need for mercury lamps.

Superior performance – low power consumption.

With a power consumption of just 0.6 watts in standby mode, the new projectors from CASIO consume less power than stipulated in the current EU directive¹ regulating power consumption for technical devices.

Superior performance – low power consumption.

Economical and environmentally friendly.

Assuming a service life of around 20,000 hours, you would need to buy up to nine new lamps with total costs amounting to about 3,200 euros. Considerable costs are avoided with the new projectors as are the energy costs for production, transportation and the disposal of used lamps. The compact DIN A4 size of the slim projectors (43 mm) and the reduced packaging save further transportation costs.
